BUILD OUR OWN is a campaign to provide career awareness and real world learning opportunities to area students interested in learning more about or experiencing the construction industry.

Members of the Capital Area Construction Council want to share their passion for the industry by providing classroom talks, business tours, job shadowing, internships, mentoring or STRA opportunities.

The goal of BUILD OUR OWN is to introduce young people to the opportunities that exist in the construction industry and provide direction as they begin to make their future career decisions.

Through BUILD OUR OWN young people will learn that a career in construction is a career for life.
